August 22 – 28, 2015
Feathered Pipe Ranch

This week we invite you to bring your body, mind and spirit on retreat to take part in a full-bodied exploration of connection. Gathering in the sacred refuge of the Feathered Pipe Ranch, this is an opportunity to come together in community to focus on discovering how to keep the energy of kindness and compassion present in your connections.

Your guides are Kathleen Macferran and Chiara Guerrieri, who have a shared passion for teaching people how to walk the way of yoga and the compassionate communicator. They weave their wisdom and experience together to offer an integrative approach that can be carried home with you to nurture and strengthen your connections even more so. Together they support you in moving beyond techniques, cultivating new pathways that will become second nature with practice, attention and time.

Throughout the week, you’ll have multiple opportunities to experiment and play, opening your body and inspiring your spirit through movement and breath. Each day Chiara turns your senses inward guiding you through a series of yoga poses chosen for their ability to make room in the body for deeper connections to take root. ‘Kathleen brings well-established principles and skills in communication to explore vibrant relationships with self and others. The Feathered Pipe offers the perfect haven to step into this conversation, making room for your heart to hear what is true and alive in the present moment.

She has worked with people for over 30 years to explore fine tuning their personal wellness and how to care for oneself from the alignment standpoint. Chiara practices and teaches yoga as a way to heal the perception of the separation between body and mind. Chiara teaches us how to breathe, how to connect the breath with the body, how to track physical sensations from moment to moment, how to find internal wisdom as body, breath, and mind work together to inspire our practice. Her love of yoga and embodied movement nourishes her passion for dancing Argentine tango. Cultivating balance, awareness of center, and stillness within movement while connecting with That which is greater than us expands in dancing together; not just in dancing but more importantly to nourish the delicate dance of human interaction in everyday life.
