NVC and Mindfulness in Institutions and Prisons

October 9th – 14th, 2011 (Arrive Sunday at 5:00, depart Friday at Noon)

with Kathleen Macferran, Dow Gordon and Raj Gill (Certified Trainers with the Center for Nonviolent Communication) 

This training will explore:

  • How to create safety through connection
  • Turning prisons into houses of healing
  • Facilitation styles in a variety of contexts
  • Tracking and balancing all needs in a group
  • Interrupting compassionately
  • Exercises to understand and integrate NVC
  • Process strategies to support effective use of time
